I’M SO EXCITED RIGHT NOW! I just woke up and took this dehydrated raw bread out of my dehydrator. And what can I tell you? It’s THE BOMB!
It’s crunchy on the outside and still a bit soft inside. It’s not as fluffy as normal bread used to be. It’s more dense and so so so so good. Due to the buckwheat it contains all amino acids and it’s so nutrient dense, easily digested and free from gluten. Unbelievable it’s raw.
Here are the ingredients that you will need:
- 250 g buckwheat sprouted
- 15 big tbsp of buckwheat flour (here is a video how to make it)
- 200 ml water
- some lemon juice
- 4 medjool dates pitted
- 2 big tbsp celery salt
- 2 big tsp of cumin powder
- 1 big tbsp of cumin seeds (or more if you like)
Put 4/5 of the sprouted buckwheat, the water, the celery salt and the dates into your blender and blend everything well. Add the mixture into a bowl and add in the remaining ingredients. Mix it with your hands until you get a nice dough and form it into a bread and put it onto a dehydrator sheet. Leave it in the dehydrator for 10 hours at 42 degrees celsius.
You can also form smaller bread rolls out of it. It’s all up to you and there are so many options.
Doesn’t this looks like real bread. I still can’t believe it’s raw. It almost tastes like real bread and I can tell you I will have bread for dinner more often in the future.
