_DSC1897 (1)A lot of people think that apples are boring but making apple pie out of them makes them very interesting. Today I want to share my favorite apple pie recipe with you. You will only need 4 ingredients and I made these mini apple pies within 15 minutes from preparing until they were all done.

If you are in a hurry this recipe can safe your day.


INGREDIENTS: (for a whole pie)


  • 25 medjol dates
  • 1 cup of dried mulberries
  • 4 apples
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • approximately 100ml water



The crust:

Put the mulberries, 3-4 pitted dates and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon into your blender or food processor and blend them until you get a crust like consistency.



The apple layer:

Peal the apples and cut them into thin slices.

The creamy middle layer:

Put 15-20 pitted dates, a 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and the water into your blender and blend until creamy.

Take half of the crust and put it into your cake pan as the bottom layer. After this you put as many layers of apples and cream on top of it. Drizzle the rest of the crust and you are ready to enjoy.

Tip: Put the cake into the fridge before serving or enjoy right away. Keeping the cake in the fridge will keep the cake from getting to fluid.
